The Industrial Connectivity and Control team is seeking a motivated, creative, Expert Analog Design Engineer with large experience in Power and HV circuit design, for Industrial power and communication applications, for his local team located in Milan DC. As Expert Analog Design Engineer, you will be involved in every phase of the project from his definition to the full product release. His experience allows him to be part of process development being able to drive it in specific cases where design needs, same as for specific ESD protectors’ development. Such role implies collaboration and coordination to other roles/department inside the company such as analog/digital design, layout, testing, quality, process, business, through the product development cycle. His high experience is recognized among the technology team and he is a reference Lead Design for complex and key projects. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Lead Design teams to develop leading edge products Manage the product feasibility and take ownership for topology choice and product IP selection. Defines digital interaction and partitioning, collaborating with digital lead design. Coordinate with test lead all DFT choices for the products, supervise test HW/SW. Collaborate and drive Product Definers to the optimization of the product definition and specification based on his feasibility study, and on his experience. Manage product partitioning, modeling and define MS chip-structure to allow parallel design among analog and digital resources (AMS/DMS), and also enabling test engineer to run the ATE DMS simulation. Handles block/macroblock and top-level simulations (Analog/DMS/AMS). He is a recognized mentor and guide for other lower experience designer, allowing their technical growth. Generate all the documentation needed for the entire design flow. Lead lab evaluation and product debug. In conjunction with TE, supports all test activities including correlation and Characterization statistical analysis with the DS/FT limits to support product intro. Required qualifications Minimum education MSEE (5yrs). More than 20yrs experience in Analog circuit design, and 8yrs or more as Lead chip design, for complex MS type of product. Large experience in power design technique, thermal local overeating, high current handling, current recirculation and latchup, barrier commonly used techniques. Large experience in HV circuit design. Large experience in HV-ESD design, protection components and design techniques. Experience in the other industrial field specific environmental stimulus other than HV-ESD, including Surge, EFT, Conducted immunity. Experience in state of art, Power processes, with low Vgs drive techniques (including special assembly techniques). Experience in Industrial interface product design is required. DC-DC conversion as part of the experience flow is welcomed.
